• English as a Second Language (ESL)

CSI offers a variety of ESL programs including Beginner ESL, Intermediate ESL and Advanced ESL. These programs offer focused classroom and computer-based English as a second language training. They are divided into three subject areas: vocabulary and conversation, writing and grammar, and reading strategies. 

• Academic ESL Programs

Academic ESL Programs include rigorous English training in reading for academic purposes, critical writing skills, and speaking and listening skills especially suited for participation in American college classrooms. These are advanced programs that build on a student's existing language skills in reading, writing, and verbal communication.

• Skill Building Programs

For the student with an advanced English proficiency, CSI offers a number of Skill Building Programs, including Customer Service Specialist, Hospitality Industry Professional, Administrative Assistant Professional and Small Business Administrator Programs.

• CS Foundation Programs

The CS Foundation Program offers students the opportunity to earn valuable software testing, quality assurance (QA) and software engineering skills in high-growth career fields. This program is designed to prepare students to sit for ISTQB/ASTQB certification exam.

Any current registered international student or alumni who successfully referred another student to start any of our programs in Charlestown, Chicago, Lombard or Skokie campuses will receive a $50 check.
