Currently Evergreen Academy offers two types of programs: Standard and Standard Plus.

Our Standard program includes 18 hours of instruction per week. It runs from Monday – Thursday and each session is 8 weeks long. Students are guided in the process of obtaining an F-1 Visa by our visa specialists. Students take our free online placement exam. Based on the score on the exam, students are placed in one of our 17 standard courses.

Our Standard Plus program includes 30 hours of instruction per week. It runs from Monday – Friday and each session is 8 weeks long. Students attend the standard classes from Monday – Thursday.

In addition to their standard class, the student selects a skills workshop. If a student wants extra practice with pronunciation, for example, then he/she will choose the pronunciation workshop. The workshops are an hour and a half (1.5 hours) Monday through Friday. After the workshop on Friday, there is a field trip in or around the Washington, DC area (20 minutes from Evergreen Academy). Students not only get to experience different activities in the city, but they also get to practice speaking English with other international students and their teachers.
