Entry Requirements:

Academic – Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or any other career closed to technology.
English - Proficiency in English is a must. Student can take BTS online English Language Test to check the English skills or student should have an IELTS overall score of 6.0 with minimum 5.5 in each band.

Location

Cost of Living:

International students spend approx. 1,000 Euros a month, at least, for the cost of room and board, according to the following costs:

Students Residence: Accommodation, internet access, water and energy consumptions, fixed telephone quota, use of common areas and 10% VAT included.
•         Single room: 490€ per month
•         Double room: 380€ per month
 
Room in a shared apartment: 350€-500€ per month. Depending on the area of Barcelonawhere the apartment is placed.Consumption costs will vary depending on whether they are included or not in the contract of agreement between roommates.
 
Food, transportation and random costs:
•         Monthly costs of Food: about 200 €uros.
•         Single ticket for bus or subway in Barcelona: 2.15 €uros.
•         10 Travel Card (T-10) for bus or subway in Barcelona: 9.95 €uros
•         Month travel Card for bus or subway in Barcelona: 43 €uros
•         1 cinema ticket: 9 €uros
•         Lunch or dinner in the city center: starting at around 8€.
 
Part Time Job:

If MDSD students want to study and work (on either a self-employed or employed basis), they will need a work permit, with the following conditions:
In a part time contract, working hours must not interfere with school hours (9 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday to Friday). If they sign up for a full time contract they are allowed to work up to three months, in which case it shall not coincide or overlap with any term of the academic year.
