Charles Darwin University is ranked in the Top 2% of World Universities (Times Higher Education 2013-14) and is located in the capital city of Darwin in the Northern Territory of Australia. Is one of the few dual sector universities in Australia that delivers Vocational Education and Training and Higher Education. This enables students to choose a course to suit their education needs, with pathways leading to bachelor degree.

More than 1100 international students from over 55 nationalities study at CDU. Students coming to study in the Northern Territory will find that it is a hub of business, industry, education and culture. The University now delivers Business and Accounting courses in Melbourne and Sydney. CDU Sydney and CDU Melbourne are centrally located in the city CBD, enabling students to enjoy a city lifestyle while receiving quality education.

Classes at the university generally combine lectures and tutorials with seminars, presentations, intensive workshops and field work also used as part of the teaching methods. The class sizes at CDU are small, providing more personalised teaching.

International House Darwin located on the Casuarina Campus in Darwin provides a safe and secure international community. It comprises of 334 rooms in 16 self-standing multi-level buildings. IHD offers a range of different accommodation options from short term to long term contracts.
