American International School of Utah
The American International School of Utah (AISU) is located in the beautiful Salt Lake Valley, in the state of Utah. Surrounded by breathtaking mountains, famous national parks and many opportunities for adventure, AISU offers you an ideal setting for hands-on learning and enriching experiences. Our world-class staff will guide you both inside and outside of the classroom to prepare you for success!
Faculty:
Most of AISU’s teachers and administrators have advanced degrees, many from Ivy-league schools. In addition, our faculty brings years of valuable professional experience; for example, the Director of Performing Arts has worked on Broadway and has a master’s degree from Harvard. In addition, AISU is accredited by AdvancED and is an active member of the Utah Charter School Association.
Learning Model:
Instead of sitting in a classroom listening to a teacher lecture, you will be immersed in workshops, personal projects and design studios. Teachers a tutors serve as your facilitators, providing one-on-one and small group instruction. You also utilize online platforms and project-based learning to individualize content and move through material at their own pace.
