Scholarship & Internship Opportunities

Merit Award

The Merit Award is given to international students based on their academic achievement. Winning this scholarship can mean up to a 50% saving on tuition fees. 

Incentive Cooperation for Development

The Incentive Cooperation for Development is for international students from Portuguese-speaking countries and can lead to the student only having to pay 50% of tuition.

AUIP Scholarship Program

The AUIP Scholarship Program is for master’s students arriving at Politécnico de Leiria from associated institutions. There are 12 scholarships which cover 50% of tuition fees as well as an enrolment fee exemption.

Internships

After completing your bachelor's or master's degree at the Politécnico de Leiria, you will have 18 months to complete an internship in Europe with the possibility of receiving an Erasmus grant.
