1.       Fulbright Scholarship for studies in the United States: The scholarship program of the Fulbright Commission was created by the Congress of the United States to promote the academic and research exchange between American citizens and students from other countries. 2.       Chevening Scholarships for studies in the United Kingdom: Being the official scholarships ‘program of the United Kingdom Government, it offers approximately 700 scholarships per year to candidates in 116 countries. Being a scholar of the Chevening Program will give you the funding to pursue a one year masters ‘program in the United Kingdom. For applying to this program you must have an undergraduate degree, knowledge of English, at least two years of work experience, and have requested admission to a masters ‘program in any field of study and any university in the United Kingdom. The Chevening scholarships cover full tuition fees, return airplane ticket, an amount for installation costs, an amount to cover excess baggage costs, the application fees for the UK student visa, an amount for dissertation costs and a monthly living allowance.

3.       Endeavour Scholarships to study in Australia: The main objective of this program is to allow foreign citizens to study a postgraduate program in Australia. The Endeavour Scholarship program gives approximately 500 scholarships per year around several countries, and cover the expenses of up to two years for a masters ‘program or up to four years for a doctorate program in any field of study in Australia. If you are interested in studying in this country, applying to an Endeavour scholarship will be a great opportunity to receive up to AUD $118,500 for a masters ‘program or up to AUD $228,500 for a doctorate program. The Endeavour Scholarships cover installation costs, tuition and fees expenses, health insurance, airplane ticket and travel insurance. 4.       Scholarships of the Swiss Government to study a doctorate/postdoctorate: In order to increase research in Switzerland, the Swiss Government offers foreign citizens the possibility to pursue a doctorate or postdoctorate study in any field in any of the 10 publics Swiss universities, the two technology institutes, or any of the public universities of applied sciences or research centers of the country. In order to apply to this program, candidates must have a Master’s degree (in case of applying to a Doctorate program), or a Doctorate degree (in case of applying to a Postdoctorate program). Along with it, candidates must have the approval from a Swiss professor to be the thesis supervisor. This scholarship program gives a monthly allowance for living expenses, the exemption of tuition and fees payment, health insurance coverage, airplane ticket, an amount for installation costs, and a year discount for public transportation.

5.       Scholarships from the New Zealand Government for postgraduate studies: If you are interested in applying to a postgraduate, masters or doctorate program in New Zealand, the “New Zealand Development Scholarships” program, for citizens of developing countries, offers the opportunity to pursue a postgraduate study in that country in specific fields of study. In case of being selected, you will receive funding for tuition expenses, living expenses and airplane ticket. To apply for these scholarships, you must be a citizen and resident of a developing country, have all the requirements to apply to a University in New Zealand, including the English requirements,   and have at least two years of working experience in your country of origin.

6.       Eiffel Scholarships to study in France: The Eiffel program, financed by the French government, gives funding to approximately 400 international students each year, to study a Masters or a Doctorate program in a French education institution, in the fields of Sciences, Engineering, Economy, Management, Law and Political Sciences. For Masters’ programs, the scholarship gives a living allowance of 1,181 euros per month, return airplane ticket and health insurance for up to 24 months. For doctorate programs, the amount given is 1,400 euros for living expenses per month, return airplane ticket and health insurance for up to 10 months.

7.       DAAD Scholarships to study in Germany: The German government offers, through the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service), more than 200 scholarship programs to support international students that want to pursue studies in Germany. Each year, the DAAD gives more than 70,000 scholarships worldwide.
